State Representatives of Massachusetts; Republican National Committeewoman
Representative Keiko Orrall is the State Representative for the 12th Bristol District in MA. She has served since October 2011 and is the first Asian American woman to be elected to the House of Representatives. Rep Orrall serves as the Ranking Minority Member of the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies. She also serves on the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development and the Export Development Committee. She is active with the Consuls General of Boston and is known as a friend in the international community. She has worked on numerous agricultural issues and has been a strong advocate for the cranberry industry in her area. She is working to support women in government and serves on the UMASS Boston Center for Women and Public Policy Advisory Board.
In addition to being a State Representative, Rep Orrall was elected as the Massachusetts National Committeewoman for the Republican National Committee in July 2016. She was a member of the Trump Asian-American Campaign Advisory Committee and is focused on improving Republican representation within diverse communities at both the state and national levels. Prior to office, she led numerous groups in the community as well as several successful grassroots campaigns regarding local issues. She was a public school teacher for several years and is active in educational issues. Rep Orrall graduated from Smith College and is married with two grown children.
